Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Sherman, Texas for Dr. Ronald Patrick Gleason, age 59, of Sherman. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Sherman. Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.
Dr. Gleason passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Baylor Medical Center of McKinney, Texas.
Ronald Patrick Gleason was born on July 21, 1955 the fourth of seven children to the late Thomas and Rose Reznicek Gleason. Ronald was fascinated with space, he loved reading, gardening and most of all he loved spending time with his wife and family.
He is survived by his wife, Tina of Sherman, daughter, Kumi Taylor and husband Keith of Maybank, Texas, son, Glenn Gleason of Dallas, Texas, daughter, Rochelle Mead and husband Austin of San Diego, California, son, James Gleason of Sherman, and two grandchildren, Ayden Reed and Mia Taylor. Ronald is also survived by his brother, Dennis Gleason and wife Ginger of Arlington, Texas, sister, Rebecca Law of Stamford, Connecticut, brother, Thomas Gleason II of Tigard, Oregon, brother, Kevin Gleason and wife Ilene of Lafayette, Colorado and sister, Mary Steinbrock and husband Kevin of Wichita, Kansas, brother in law, Etso Igarashi of Yokohama, Japan, sister in law, Yaeko Kuwajima and husband Shinsaku of Chiba, Japan, numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Brian Gleason.
A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, February 4th at 6:00 PM at Waldo Funeral
