Teresa Carolyn Moye
Rylee
23 APRIL 1932 - 1 OCTOBER
2013
Teresa was born
in McAdoo, Pennsylvania, to Rose and Joseph Moye. She passed from this life at
her home in Sherman, Texas.
Teresa wore many hats in her lifetime. She
was Secretary to the Principal of Perryton Junior High School, Administrative
Executive Secretary for Wheatheart Feeders in Perryton, Texas, and opened her
own design shop. For many years she worked for S&H Green Stamps, having been
honored several times as top salesperson in her region. Upon retiring, Teresa
was able to fulfill her biggest passion by working in floral design. Working as
a floral designer at MJ Designs, Hobby Lobby and several other Sherman interior
design stores. She also spent five years working at Dallas Market
Center.
In recent years, Teresa also was able to fulfill her passion for
volunteering, constantly giving her time at Grand Central Soup Kitchen in
Sherman, St Mary's Catholic School
and at St. Mary's Catholic Parish in Sherman.
Her biggest joys were being a 'Granny' to her grandchildren and their
friends, her two dogs and being Catholic. Teresa's hobbies included floral
design, sewing, cooking, making homecoming mums, decorating, reading and music.
Teresa always said she may not have been born in Texas, but she got here as soon
as she could. She touched many lives with her love of flowers and her spunky
nature. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, three sisters and two brothers.
Teresa is survived by her
husband of sixty-three years, Ray G. Rylee; son, Jeff Rylee and his wife Jennie;
daughter Debbie Blanton and her husband Jim; two grandchildren: Breanne Gibson
Vopelak and her husband Rob, and Young Rylee. Also surviving are sisters,
Carolyn Page Broughton, Valerie Lancer, Marion Shuhala and Barbara Guerra; and
brothers, Leonard Moye and John Moye.
A rosary will be recited at Dannel
Funeral Home at 6:30 p.m. Friday, October 4th.

Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Jeremy Myers, Pastor of St. Mary's Catholic
Parish, at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5th, at St. Anne's Catholic Church, with
Rev. Toni Aureus concelebrating. Committal services will follow at St. Mary's
Cemetery in Sherman.
In lieu of flowers, Teresa had requested memorials
be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church Flower Fund.
