CHIEF WARRANT OFFICER THOMAS EDWARD BROWN
Chief Warrant Officer (CW2) Brown was born in Denver, Colorado, the son of Robert Leo and Mary Jane (Callaway) Brown.  A Care Flight pilot, Mr. Brown died in a Dallas, Texas hospital from injuries sustained in a helicopter crash in McKinney, Texas.
He attended Denver schools before moving iwth his family to Sherman, Texas, in 1966.  He graduated from Sherman High School in 1972 and Grayson County College, Denison, Texas.
He married Miss Joan Marie Smith April 28, 1973, in Sherman, and they were blessed with two sosn, James Robert and Christopher Lee.
Mr. Brown entered the US Army in 1975 and was a helicopter pilot following his graduation from Aviation School held in Ft. Rucker, Alabama.  CW2 Brown served in the Army until 1981.
He and his family were members of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sherman.
Left to mourn his passing and cherish his memories, Mr. Brown was survived by his wife; two sons James Robert and Christopher Lee Brown, of the home; his parents, Robert and Mary of Aurora, Colorado; and three sisters, Mrs. Linda Sellers, Waco, Texas; Mrs. Cindy Sellers, Amarillo, Texas; and Mrs. Jamie McLaughlin, Denver.
Rosary was recited at the Dannel-Horton Funeral Home Chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Rev. John Fowler officiating.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Vansickle, Ray Threadgill, Troy Sellers, Craig Sellers, James McLaughlin and Ray Pierce.
