Enrique Medrano 27 December 1896 - 27 April 1964 Carmen Medrano 9 February 1915 - 24 September 1976 Felipe "Phillip" Medrano 21 November 1933 - 5 March 2003 Martha Lunell Medrano, our loving mother and grandmother, was called home on March 25, 2021 peacefully with her family by her side. Ms. Medrano was born June 5, 1933 in Grayson County, Texas, daughter of Virgil Brisco and Lacy Moon Brisco. She was a waitress all her working life. Martha always had a helping hand for those in need or down on their luck. She always had an open door for anyone to stay or feed them food if they were hungry. Her love for the Lord was always first but her love for her family was priceless and never ending. Ms. Medrano was preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life, Phillip Medrano; brother, Jimmy Brisco; sisters, Kay Clark; Francis Richardson; Mary Emery; grandson, Ricky Benedict; and nephew, Jimmy Jenson. Martha is survived by her son, Phil Medrano and wife, Karolyn; daughters, Susie Streng; Rose Mary Morales; Kathy Thurman; Phyllis Flowers and husband, Roy; Bonnie Nall and husband, Rick; and one aunt, Thelma Inman; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Ms. Medrano was a resident of The Homestead of Sherman for 6 years where she lived and called her home. To our mother and grandmother, you are loved beyond words and will forever be missed in our hearts and all of our great memories will be chrished forever until we meet again. Fly high, out beautiful Angel. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, March 29, 2021 at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at St. Mary's Cemetery in Sherman. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
