Sally was born in
Gunter, Texas to John and Elizabeth (Roeder) Fallon and passed from this life in
Sherman, Texas at the age of 83.
On 21 August 1952, she married James
"Bud" McCullough at St. Mary's Catholic
Church,
Sherman. James and Sally had been married 47 years when he died.
Sally
was a beloved wife, mother, sister, a farmer and rancher, and a baker of
delicious apricot pies. She was a grandmother and a great-nan, many times over.
She loved God, her family, church, mowing her yard, and a good clearance sale.
She loved babies, especially her own. She hated injustice, mice, and cats –
unless they were catching mice. She was extraordinary in all the ways that
matter. Her name was Sally McCullough and she was our mother.
Sally was
preceded in death by her parents; husband, James (Bud) McCullough; daughter,
Barbara Eileen; sisters, Mary Horak, Florence Day and "Net" Jeanette Henderson;
brothers, Charles Fallon, Bill Fallon, and Eddy (Bub) Fallon.
She is
survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Pat and Terri McCullough; daughters and
sons-in-law, Libby and Randy Griffin, Teresa and Jim Colvin, Mary and Keith
Utley, and Margaret Stegal; 12 grandchildren, Tiffany Griffin, Jennie and Jeremy
Bullard, Laura and Jose Zagala, Amy and Justin Lewis, Ann Marie and James
Rutledge, Kim McCullough, Emily McCullough, Brian Utley, Katie and Lance High,
Erin and Chase Condor, Charlie Stegal, Eric and Libbie Stegal; 19
great-grandchildren, Jonathon, Megan, Nick and Luke Bullard; Marc, Molly, and
Brian Zagala; Jacob, Katelynn and Avery Lewis; Olivia, William, and Samuel
Rutledge; Selah, Alycia, Lydia, Malachi and Elijah High, and McKenzie Condor;
three expecting great-grandchildren, Kinsey Stegal and Benjamin Lewis (in Jan.),
and baby girl Utley (in April). Sally is also survived by sisters, Etta Klumpyan
and Delia Fallon; brother-in-law, Jim Henderson; sisters-in-law, Connie Fallon
and Lillian Fallon; and many nieces, nephews, extended family; and two dear
caregivers, Peggy Broach and Sue Simms.
A Rosary was recited at
Waldo Funeral Home, Chapel with Deacon Albert Miller
officiating.
A Mass of Christian
Burial was celebrated at St Mary's
Catholic Church, with Revs. Jeremy Myers and Antonio Aureus
officiating.
Interment followed at
St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery with grandsons Brian Utley, Charlie Stegal, Eric
Stegal, great-grandson Jonathon Bullard, and friends Tim and Tom Gullett serving
as casket bearers.

Center St., Sherman, TX 75092.
