Paul Augustine Gray 31 October 1928 - 1 November 2015 Rosemary Violet Gray 3 August 1930 - 5 July 2002 wed 20 May 1950 Paul Gray was born on Wednesday, October 31st, 1928 in Notre Dame De Lourdes, Canada to Victor and Emma (Lesage) Gray and departed this life on Sunday, November 1st, 2015 in McKinney, Texas at the age of 87. Paul was raised in Canada by his aunt, Mary. In 1950, he began working with CNR for several years. Paul married Rosemary Robertson on May 20th, 1950 and she preceded him in death on July 5th, 2002. In 1956, Paul came to St. Paul, Minnesota where he worked for Great Northern Railroad and also worked many side jobs at night. While in St. Paul, he played and eventually coached the St. Paul Saints hockey team. Paul would later come to Dallas at Love Field and work at Braniff Airlines until his retirement. He enjoyed reading and telling stories. Paul was a long time member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sherman. Mr. Gray was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jane Orr; brothers, Victor, Art and Hank Gray; and brother-in-law, Glen Ball. He is survived by his sons, James Gray and his wife, Joycelynn, Douglas Gray and his wife, Joyce, David Gray and his wife, Kathy, and Jeffrey Gray; daughters, Lisa Butler and her husband, Chris, and Linda Lowther and her husband, Mark, all of Texas; sisters, Theresa Sterk and her husband, Girard of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Louise Ball of Winnipeg, Canada; special caregiver, Antoinette Moltzen of McKinney, TX; 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Rosary services will be recited by Mr. Jim Adlof on Tuesday, November 3rd, from 5:30-6:00 PM at Waldo Funeral Home chapel. A visitation will continue after the rosary until 7:30 PM at Waldo Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 4th, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sherman with Father Antonio Aureus officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.
