Mrs. Arrington was born in Sherman, Texas, the daughter of W.B. and Eddie Oglesby McDonald.  She passed at a local medical hospital in Sherman.
She was educated in St. Joseph's Academy at St. Mary's Catholic Parish and Sherman Public Schools.
On December 1, 1920, she was married to Cordell Arrington in Sherman.
She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Parish, St. Mary's Altar Society and in Parent-Teacher work.
Survivors include her husband, her parents, a son, William C. Arrington of Beaumont, Texas; a brother, H.R. "Bud" McDonald of Sherman; a sister, Mrs. Tennie Blankenship of Sherman and three grandchildren.
A Rosary was recited at Dannel Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Monsignor Edward V. McCullough at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
A more detailed obituary was published in the local newspaper, Sherman Democrat on 4 March 1951.

Mr. Arrington was born in Texas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Arrington.  At time of death, he was living in Griffith, Indiana and was killed in an automobile accident near Gary, Indiana.
He was veteran of three years’ service with the United States Army, having served two years in Vietnam where he received a Bronze Star for bravery.
At his death he was associated with the Island Steel Company of Chicago, Illinois.
He was a member of the Catholic Church.
He is survived by his parents of Munster, Indiana; three sisters, Mrs. Ann McFarland of New Jersey, Miss Mary Arrington and Miss Cecele Arrington of Munster; and one brother, Brian Arrington of Munster.
Rosary was recited at Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman by the Rev. Emil Slovacek, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Parish, Sherman.
Requiem Mass was celebrated by Rev. Slovacek at St. Mary's Church.
Pallbearers were James Jackson, Michael Fox, Alvin Vrla, Charles McCullough, Michael Dagnan and James Adlof.

Margaret O'Connell Fay Arrington

Mrs. Arrington was born in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William F. Fay. She died in a Sherman, Texas hospital.
On 28 January 1918, she married William Henry O'Connell. He died in 1950.  On 10 March 1954, she married Cordell Arrington. He died in 1956.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Parish, Sherman.
She was preceded in death by her parents and both husbands.
She is survived by a son, Major William F. O'Connell and a daughter, Mrs. Paul B. Swindle, both of Fort Worth, Texas; and eight grandchildren.
Requiem Mass was celebrated at St Mary's by Rev. John Duesman, pastor of the church.
Charles O'Hagan, Joe Becker, Adrian O'Hanlon, C.C. Cook, Mike Dagnan and Otto Sladecek were the pallbearers.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Dannel Funeral Home.
