John Jerome Fay

John Jerome Fay, 55, died at local hospital (Sherman, Texas) at 1:20 p.m. Monday. Funeral services are to be held from Talley Funeral home at 9 a.m. Tuesday, burial to follow in St Mary’s Cemetery directed by Talley.
Mr. Fay was born and reared in Sherman and was a member of St Mary’s Catholic Church here. He will be buried beside his father and mother, Mrs. P.W. Fay. The body will remain at the funeral home until time for the services.
Surviving Mr. Fay are one daughter, Mrs. Dolph Sinic of Augusta, Kansas, and one sister. Mrs. Harrold Goddard of Hollywood, California. He is also survived by one half-brother, W.M. Fay of Sherman.

Peter Parnell "Pete" Fay
1886 – 1933

Funeral services for Peter Parnell (PeteP Fay, 47-year-old farmer of Ethel community who was fatally injured Wednesday night when struck by a motor car near the Woodmen Circle home, were held at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, conducted by Father Daugherty of Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Talley Funeral home was in charge.  Pallbearers were Frank Pugh, Kenneth Dial, Jake Weingarten, Harry Wood, Andrew Korioth, Charles Walcott, A.L. Dennis and Sheriff Benton Davis.

In 1894 she married  William M. Fay (1872 – 1943). 
Mother of Margaret O’Connell Fay Arrington (1897 – 1963) and William P. Fay (1902 – 1951)

William M. Fay
18 June 1872 – 12 February 1943

Funeral services for W. M. Fay, 70, who died Friday night at a local hospital from effects of burns received two weeks ago, are to be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, conducted by the Very Reverend Edward V. McCullough, pastor.
Burial will be at St Mary’s Cemetery with in charge.
A rosary service will be held at the family residence, 413 North East, Saturday at 5 p.m.
Mr. Fay the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Fay was born in Ferris on June 18, 1872. He came to Sherman when a child and for a number of years was in the restaurant business, retiring in 1921.
He was married in 1894 to Margaret Belle Walls of Sherman, who died in 1930. Mr. Fay married Mrs. Rose McHam of Sherman, April 21, 1935.
Survivors are his wife; a son, Bill Fay of Sherman; a daughter, Mrs. W.H. O’Connell of Sherman, and two grandchildren. Harold McHam, who is stationed with the Navy in San Diego, is a step-son.

William P "Bill" Fay
1902 – 1951 

Bill was born in Dallas, Texas the son of William M. and Margaret Bell Walls Fay. He died at his home in Sherman, Texas.
He attended St Joseph Academy, Sherman Business College and Austin College, all in Sherman.
On 15 August 1942, he married Mrs. Maurine Shields. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
He was a retired grocery man, having retired in 1945.
Survivors include his wife; a sister, Mrs. W.H. O’Connell, a niece and a nephew.
Rosary was recited at John C. Dannel Funeral home, Sherman. Mass of Christina Burial was celebrated at St Mary’s Church by Monsignor Edward McCullough, pastor.
