was born in Tiffin, Ohio to Joseph Dell and Thelma Weaver Dell. He
passed away at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital-WNJ of Sherman, Texas. He was a graduate in the class of 1959 from Calvert High School in Tiffin, Ohio. He then graduated from DeVry Technical Institute in Chicago, Illinois in 1964. He worked for Texas Instruments, retiring after 46 years as an Engineer. Tom served in the Ohio Army National Guard. On 31 October 1964, in Tiffin, Ohio, he wed Margaret Kastner whom he was married to for 48 years before his passing. Their love was rewarded with six children. Tom was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather to his family. He loved to spend time cooking and woodworking. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Parish in Sherman, and served on the school board for St. Mary's Catholic School, Sherman. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1289 as a Third Degree Knight, and the Knights of Columbus Council #1601 as a Fourth Degree Knight. Tom was also a soccer coach for the Texoma Soccer Association, and a Sherman Youth League baseball coach. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, son Matthew Dell, brother Frederick Dell, sister Lois Juby, brother-in-law Joseph Juby, and brother-in-law Rene Dubois. Left to cherish his memories, Tom is survived by his wife Margaret of the home; three sons Joseph Dell and wife Gretchen of Sherman, Nicholas Dell, and wife Suzanne of Keller, Texas, David Dell of Sherman; daughters Monica Dell and Catherine Dell of Sherman; grandchildren Jacob & Jonathan Dell, and Emma & Connor Dell; a sister Jettie Dubois of Carey, Ohio; a brother Maxwell Dell and wife Marie of Tiffin, Ohio, and numerous nieces & nephews. The Rosary will be recited by Deacon Albert Miller, St Mary's Catholic Parish, at Dannel Funeral Home chapel. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St Mary's Catholic Church, the Reverend Antonio Aureus officiating, assisted at the altar by the Pastor Rev. Jeremy Myers and Deacon Tomas Avila. Pallbearers will be Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree members. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Dell, Nicholas Dell, David Dell, Jacob Dell, Michael VanSant, and Raymond Smith.
