Died in Ambulance
Patient from Sulphur Springs Expired on Way to Sanitarium.

Sherman, Tex., Nov. 17 - While being carried in the ambulance from the Cotton Belt train to the sanitarium last night between 6 and 7 o'clock, a man named Manuagh of Sulphur Springs, Tex., expired.  He was brought to Sherman by Rev. Father M.G. French, a Catholic priest of Commerce, for treatment, but before the sick man could be placed in the sanitarium death had claimed him.  The remains were interred this morning at 10:30 o'clock at the Catholic cemetery.  Services at the grave were conducted by Father French.
Menaugh was a shoemaker by trade and had lived in Sulphur Springs for 15 years.  He was discovered the first of the week by Father French in a very precarious condition.  Father French made a special trip to Sherman to see if a place could be provided for the sick man at the sanitarium.  The Sisters agreed to take him for treatment and Father French returned to Sulphur Springs to bring the sick man back.  He was so low that he could not talk when Dr. French returned and could tell nothing of himself,
his church connections or history.  It is believed that he has a wife and child in Philadelphia and a brother in Ohio.  The dead man is between 30 and 35 years of age.  Death was due to a complication of kidney and bowel trouble.
