Hoda Khalaf Nehme, 65, of Plano passed from this life Saturday, October 9, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.  She will always be remembered nas a  kind and loving wife, mother, aunt, sister and friend.
She was born March 25, 1956 in Souk El Gharb, Lebanon, daughter of Tanios and Ivanne Siouf Khalaf.  She married Nassif Nehme on September 23, 1979.  She was a housewife but had previously worked at St. Mary's Catholic School in Sherman and at Sears and Roebuck.  She was a longtime member of St. Mary's Church.
Hoda was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of Plano; sons, Ralph Nehme and wife, Sara, of Anna; Mark Nehme of Canada; grandchildren: Matthew Nehme and Amelia Nehme, both of Anna; brothers, Mike Khalaf and wife, Sue, of Sherman; Elias Khalaf and wife, Marina, of Sherman; sister, Norma Khalaf of Plano; nieces and nephews, Pamela, Elie, Carla and husband Frank; Chris and fiance, Haley; and Joe and fiance Alisson.
A rosary was held Wednesday evening in the Chapel of Waldo Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian burial was held for Hoda Thursday morning, October 14, 2012 at St Mary's Catholic Church with interment immedialy following at St. Mary's Cemebery in Sherman, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be sent to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sherman, Texas.
