The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, November 27, 1910 pg. 1 HOME NEWS Bernice Hortense, the two-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lamb and the granddaughter of Douglas Lamb, died Wednesday at the family residence five miles southeast of Denison, of pneumonia and meningitis. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. A.L. Hardin of Van Alstyne. Interment was at Shannon Cemetery. The Denison Press Monday, December 13, 1937 pg. 1 YOUNG GIRL DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS Miss Suetah J. Lamb, 18-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rich Lamb of the Dripping Springs community near Denison, died at her home Sunday afternoon at 3:30 following an illness of twenty months. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Shannon church with Rev. L.R. Lamb and Rev. Burton Coffman of Sherman officiating. Interment will be at the Shannon cemetery with Short-Murray directing. Miss Lamb was born in Dripping Springs community and was reared and educated in the public schools there. She attended Denison High School two years quitting about twenty months ago due to ill health. She took active part in church and Sunday school work in her community. She had been seriously ill the past two months. Surviving are her parents; three brothers, L.D., Keel, and Duston Lamb, all of Dripping Springs and four sisters, Mrs. Gordon Craig of Sherman; Mrs. Ollie Arnold of Oklahoma City; Mrs. Virgil Fogle of Denison, and Miss June Lamb of Dripping Springs.
