KELSEY Services for Mrs. Myrtle Ommie Kelsey, 69, former school teacher who died Monday at a Denison hospital, were held Wednesday at Johnson-Moore Chapel, conducted by Al Skaggs of Calvary Baptist Church. Burial was in Shannon Cemetery. She was born in Whitesboro and moved to Denison in 1917. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. S.M. King and attended Whitesboro DesVoigne and Denison school. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include sons, Fran Melvin Kelsey of South Africa; and Roy Baker Kelsey of Denison; daughters, Georgetta Bonner of Howe; Mrs. Donnabee Larkins of Denison; brother, L.L. King; sisters, Mrs. Faye Cummings and Mrs. Fern Nix, both of Denison; and Mrs. Earl Spiegel of Dallas; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
