Wood, 93-year-old Chico resident, died Thursday, September 21, 2006 in Bridgeport. Services were held saturday at the First Baptist Church of Chico with Rev. Adam Hughes officiating. Burial followed at Sadler Cemetery in Sadler, Texas. Surviving are his sons, Mike Wood and David Wood; daughter, Peggy Hylton; sisters, Dorothy Lewter, Oleta Gattis and Laura Beth Siebman; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
