Eldredge 6 January 1926 - 11 February1998 US Navy WWII  Whitesboro - Hester Joyc Eldredge, 81, went to meet her Lord on Wednesday, March 21, 2012. She was born on July 9, 1930 in Byers, Texas, to Charles G. and Alma Long. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 24, 2012; interment was in Sadler Cemetery. Joyce married Billy Eldredge April 1, 1950 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Joyce was employed by the City of Whitesboro for 25 years and retired in 1995. She was a member of North Union Church of Christ. Survivors include son, Jimmy Eldredge and wife, Penny, of Sherman; daughter, Mary Ann and husband, John Williams, of Whitesboro; grandchildren: Heather and husband, Jimmy Bartley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; David Eldredge and wife, J.J., of Whitewright; Ryan Williams and Ashley of Anna, Texas; Michael Eldredge of Georgia; Sabrina and husband, Jason Ball, of Ft. Worth; Shannon Williams of Whitesboro; great-grandchildren: Taylor Bartley, Cole and Regan Eldredge, Haegan and Rylan Williams; Tyler Williams; Steven and Trace Canady; Parker and Landon Eldredge; Wyatt and Lilah Grace Ball; and Mason, Kyler and Avery Simmons. She is survived by one brother, Mike Long of Ft. Worth; and sister-in-law, Hilda Long of Fort Worth; numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a special friend, Larae Jack and his family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Charles, David, Don and James Long; and sister, Mary McChesney.
