Services for Captain Billy Howard Burgess Jr. will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 16 at Rosehill Cemetery in Bells.
Captain Billy Howard Burgess Jr. was born November 3rd, 1952 to Katherine and Billy Burgess Sr.
Billy attended schools in San Benito, Texas, and Atoka, Oklahoma. He served in the Air Force in 1974 and worked in the
Oil Field in South Texas.
Billy was a Captain and Fishing Guide at Lake Texoma and Port Mansfield, Texas.
He is survived by his three sons, Andy, Charlie and Billy Burgess III.
Billy leaves grandchildren, Megan, Kaitlyn, Andy and Austin Burgess.
He is survived by his sister, Cindy Page and brother, Bobby Burgess of Bells.
Billy leaves many nieces and nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alice and Jerry Mangrum of Bells.
Billy's parents are at home at 89 Sunny Lane in Bells.
