Whitewright, Texas (formerly of Bells) - Funeral services for Earline Rice were held Wednesday at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells/Savoy. Rev. Billy Neal, Jr. of First Baptist Church in Bells officiated. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Earline was born February 10, 1933 in Bells, Texas, the daughter of Ray and Oleta Horton Rice. She was a graduate of Bells High School and owned and operated her beauty shop in Whitewright before she and Patsy Smith opened The Flower Shop in Whitewright. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bells.
Earline is survived by her nephews and their wives, Michael Jack and Janiece Lankford of Whitewright; and Rickey and Phyllis Lankford of Bells; and niece Teresa Cassita of Denison; great-nieces and nephews, Jennifer & John Sinor; Michelle & Marcus Glover; Jason & Priscilla Lankford; Brandon & Maury Cutts; Mandy & Joe Allen Hitsman; Josh & Jennifer Bilyeu; Heather & Cole Kimberling; Cody Lankford and Brittney Martinez; and Jessica Stephens; special friend Patsy Smith; and numerous great-great-nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Jason Lankford, Brandon Cutts, Josh Bilyeu, Cody Lankford, Joe Allen Hitsman, and Cole Kimberling.
