Ray Lucas, 83, of Bonham, passed away at the Red River Regional
Hospital in Bonham, Texas on Thursday, September 19, 2013.
Thomas was born July 19, 1930 in Leonard, Texas to parents, Wesley I. Lucas and Allie Mae Murray Lucas. He married Nina Kile who preceded him in death. He is survived by his two sons, John Lucas and wife, Donna, of Whitewright; Mike Lucas and wife, Joy, of Bells; daughter, Terri Grosh and husband, Steve, of Richardson; and brother, Billy Lucas and wife, Betty. T homas was preceded by his parents; wife; and daughter, Kathy Lucas. Mr. Lucas was a 1949 graduate of Bells High School, he served his country in the US Marine Corp, serving in Viet Nam, and was a mechanic for AmTrac for many years. He was a Baptist by faith. Funeral services for Mr. Lucas were set for Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery. Rev. Houston Garner officiated.
