  Brenda J. Barajas 27 December 1952 - Ray Barajas 2 May 1941 - 15 March 2016 wed 15 July 1983  Bells, Texas -- Ray Barajas, 74, of Bells passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at his home with family at his side. Funeral services for Ray are set for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Bells with Brother Bill Neal, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery in Bells. A family visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the church. Pallbearers will be Gary Martin, Jimmy Barajas, Aaron Blanton and Jeremy Barajas. Ray was born May 2, 1941 in Anthony, New Mexico to parents Jose Salvador Barajas and Guadalupe (Herrera) Barajas. He married Brenda Martin in 1983 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He was a member of the First Baptist Church Bells, and was an Electrician by trade. Ray is survived by his wife, Brenda of Bells; three sons, James Ray Barajas, Aaron Blanton, and Michael Blanton; daughter, Laura Barajas; brother, Gilbert Barajas; sister, Celia Bradford and six grandchildren.
