DENISON - Barbara Kate Conely, 85, of Denison died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Texoma Medical Center. Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2012 with Bro. Todd Catteau officiating. Burial was in Rosehill Cemetery in Bells.  Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
Mrs. Conely was born on February 24, 1927 in Ambrose to Robert Louis and Lola Belle Todd Whitlock. She graduated from Bells High School in 1944 as the salutatorian. She married William M. Conely Sr. on October 26, 1944 in Durant, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 18, 1993. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son, William "Bill" Conely Jr. of Denison; and cousins: Tommy Todd and wife, Fay, of Denison; David Whitlock and wife, Diane, of Bells.


Funeral services for William M. Conely were held Monday, June 21, 1993 at Johnson-Moore Chapel with Anthony Bryant officiating.  Pallbearers were Harry Corbett, Don Joines, Gerald Locke, Jeff Nicholson, Wally Rasco and Clarence Weger.  Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Bells. Arrangements were under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home, Denison.
