Thursday, December 12, 1963 pg. 1 DEATHS Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Bells Methodist Church for Mrs. H.D. Moore, 90, a Bells resident for 51 years. She died Saturday night in a Sherman hospital. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery at Bells, directed by Earnheart. Rev. Dale Moon, Baptist minister, and Rev. N.B. Chaveas, Methodist minister, conducted the services. Grandsons were pallbearers, including David Johnson of Whitewright, Rogers Allred of Amarillo, Cecil Wilburn of Dallas, Ardath Moore and Maurice Essary of Houston, Charles Essary and Tommy Moore of Dallas and Russell Moore of Plainview. Mrs. Moore was born May 10, 1873, in Montgomery, Alabama, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wooten. In August 1889 she married H.D. Moore of Bells. He died in 1956. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors are 3 sons, Earl Moore of Bells; Claude Moore of Denison; and Fred Moore of Plainview; 3 daughters, Mrs. Carl Allred of Bells; Mrs. Faye Essary of Dallas; and Mrs. Joe Johnson of Whitewright; a sister, Mrs. Joe Carruth of Dimmitt; 18 grandchildre; 30 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
