February 2, 1994 Services were Tuesday, February 1, at Mullican-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Bells for 90-year-old Denison and former Bells resident Nellie Martin who died Saturday, January 29, at Homestead Nursing Center. Mr. W.C. Pointer and Rev. Brian McPherson officiated. Burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery in Bells. Mrs. Martin was born in Grayson County, daughter of John F. Flowers and Sara Riddle Flowers. She married Atticus Martin September 14, 1919 in Grayson County. She was a retired cafeteria worker for Bells public schools and a member of Bells United Methodist Church. Survivors include sons, Roy Martin of Bells and Larry Martin of Burleson; daughters, Loretta Killough and Patsy Neff, both of Denison; Carolyn Dick of Shreveport, Louisiana; and Gladys Caffey of Blanchard, Louisiana; brother, Hershell Flowers of Denton; 29 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Gary Martin, Jerry Martin, Kenneth Martin, Johnny Martin, Michael Tyler, Tommy Pritchett, Lanny Martin.
