Thursday, July 8, 1937 pg. 5 MORTUARY Funeral services for M.J. Lankford, 78, who died Wednesday at his home in Ector, were held Thursday afternoon at Ector. He was born in Tennessee but had lived in Fannin County for many years. Surviving are his wife; two sons, H.G. Lankford of Sherman and W.C. Lankford of Midland; four daughters, Mrs. J.H. Lumpkins of Whitewright; Mrs. Bell Worley of Denison; Mrs. E.A. Hendricks of Dallas; and Mrs. Mary West of Difficult, Tennessee; a sister; and 30 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
