  David Earl Jones 19 November 1948 - 18 September 2017 SFC US Army Vietnam Ravenna,
Texas - Mr. David E. Jones passed away at Mullican Care Center in Savoy
on Monday, September 18, 2017. David was born November 19, 1948
in Dallas, Texas to Johnny Delbert Jones and Mary Viola (Speight)
Jones. David married Jo Walker on December 9, 1972 in Healdton,
Oklahoma. He served his country and retired after 21 years in the
U.S. Army. He worked for the Veteran's Administration in Bonham. David is survived by his wife; daughters, Michelle Jones of Carrollton; Christie Hurlburt and husband, Dan, of Denton; sister, Elizabeth Van Barneveld of Troy, Missouri; and three grandchildren, Nicole Green, Ashley and Alison Hurlburt. Graveside services were Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Rosehill Cemetery in Bells with Rev. Lowell Howard officiating and a full military Honor Guard ceremony.
