BELLS - Leila Morrell, 80, of Bells passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005 at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells/Savoy with Dr. Lowell Howard, pastor of Antioch Baptist Church officiating. Burial followed at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Morrell was born on Nov. 13, 1924, in Moreville, Louisiana, daughter of Wilmore and Lena Dufour. On May 29, 1950
she married J.R. "Dick" Morrell in Las Vega, Nevada.
Lee was a homemaker for the past several years. Before that, she helped Dick with the family plating business. She was
a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons and their wives, Lonnie Morrell and Heather of Marshall, Texas; James R. Morrell and Debbie of Garland, Texas; and Bill Morrell and Sonja of Krum, Texas; daughter, Barbara Lehman of Orange Park, Florida; daughter and husband, Linda Dele Fortrie and Ray of San Clemente, California; brother Billy Durour; sisters, Minnie Delaney and Pearl Juneau; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
