Price 1930 - 1980 Glen Taylor Price 11 January 1930 - 26 March 1980 Staff Sergeant US Air Force Korea Savoy, Texas -- Marjorie Beth Price Jackson passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Mullican Care Center in Savoy. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Mullican-Little Chapel in Bells/Savoy with Reverend Lowell Howard officiating and burial immediately following in Rosehill Cemetery in Bells. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service. Marjorie was born June 27, 1928 in Whitewright, Texas to parents, E.O. and Maggie (Hunter) Young. Her family moved to Bells where she met and later married Glen Price on March 18, 1949 in Bells. She and Glen lived in Bells, Columbus, Ohio and later moved to Denison. After Glen’s death in 1980, she married Howard Jackson on June 5, 1987 in Denison and they lived in Prosper, Texas. After his death in 2008, she enjoyed living with her children until moving into Assisted Living and then Mullican Care Center in Savoy. Marjorie attended school at Pilot Grove and graduated from Whitewright High School. She worked in the office at Wilson N Jones hospital in Sherman and then at Texoma Medical Center in Denison when it opened. She was very proud of the fact that she admitted the first patient in to TMC in 1965. She retired in June 1987. She was a precious lady and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved family photos and enjoyed finding just the right frame to display each one. She always enjoyed garage sales and finding a good bargain. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Prosper, Texas. She is survived by daughter, Vicki Garrett and husband Charles of Lake Jackson, Texas; son, Jeff Price and wife Vera of Denison; grandchildren: Brian Garrett & Sunnye, Maggie Tomasini and Ryan, Casey Price and Katy, Chad Price and Nicole; great-grandchildren: Grayson, Max and Saylor Garrett, Lilly and Lane Tomasini, Dylan and Hayden Horton and Audrey and Brady Price; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, brothers: Grady Young & wife Faye, Houston Young & wife Opal, Willard Young & wife Lena Mae.
