Bells, Texas - Graveside services for Fannie Ayers, age 85, were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 17, 2003 in Rose Hill Cemetery in Bells, Texas. Dr. Lowell Howard of Antioch Baptist Church and Rev. David Taylor officiated. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Ayers passed away Friday, November 14, 2003 in the Mullican Care Center, Savoy, Texas.
She was born March 7, 1918 in Bells, Texas, the daughter of Charlie and Jennie Reynolds.  She married Roy Ayres on August 24, 1934 in Whitewright, Texas.  Fannie was a retired seamstress from Pool Manufacturing Co. in Sherman. She was born and raised in Bells and had lived her entire life in Grayson County. She as a member of the Antioch Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Ayres; brothers, Elmer Reynolds, Lelmer Reynolds, Delmer Reynolds, and Zelmer Reynolds (Van).
She is survived by her son, Donald Gene Ayres of Bells, Texas; grandson and his wife, Brian and Denise Ayres of McKinney, Texas.
