Trimble, II 24 May 1945 - 10 April 2014 Chief Master Sergeant US Air Force Vietnam Denison, Texas - Retired Chief Master Sergeant James W. Trimble, II passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014 with his loving family at his side. Jim was born on May 24, 1945 in Tulare, California to James Washington Trimble and Camillo Maxine Childers Trimble. He married Sharon Darlene McLemore on December 7, 1962 in Ft. Worth, Texas. Jim retired at Altus AFB, Oklahoma as CMSGT from the U.S. Air Force after 26 years in l989. He flew Generals on the CINC-MAC Crew including flying Bob Hope on the USO Tour in 1987 plus numerous other celebrities. He served as past Quarter Master for Post 2773 in Denison. After serving in the Air Force he was an instructor for Hughes, Inc. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells/Savoy, Texas. Rev. Wes Willie of Cherry Mound Baptist Church officiated. Interment with full military honors was held in Rose Hill Cemetery. Retired Chief Master Sergeant James W. "Jim" Trimble, II is survived by his daughters, Teresa Peer and her husband, Lonny, of Abilene; Sherry Fish and her husband, Dwayne, of Altus, Oklahoma; and Belinda Smith and her husband, Brian, of Van Alstyne; brothers C.J. Trimble and Joe Trimble; sisters Ruth Bearden, Julia Trimble and Kathy Wise; grandchildren, Brandon, Dustin and Nicholas Taylor, Michael Smith, Chelsea Peer, Brianna Smith, Tianna Fish and Karee Smith; great grandchildren Isabelle, Skylah, Sofia, James and Eliott James Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also a special friend Laveta Keeling. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 47 years, Sharon Trimble; sisters, Lena Sue Allen and Baby Girl Trimble.
