Billie Jean Neal 10 March 1935 - Billy Vernon Neal, Sr. 16 June 1932 - 25 February 2015 wed 9 June 1951 Billy Vernon Neal, Sr. 16 June 1932 - 25 February 2015 Sergeant US Army Korea BELLS - Billy Vernon Neal, born June 16, 1932, at 82 years of age went to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 25, 2015 while at home. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where he also served as deacon. He served 2 years in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He was honorably discharged with rank of Staff Sergeant and passed away as a disabled veteran. Billy is survived by his wife Billie Jean Neal. They were married June 9, 1951 in Savoy, Texas. He is also survived by his son, Billy V. Neal Jr. and wife, Melissa; and son Bruce W. Neal and wife, Pamela, all of Bells; grandchildren: ZaKare, Mattheu, Trey and wife, Shelby, Sarah and husband, Dusty, Adam and fiance, MiKaela; great-grandchildren: MacKenzie, Tripp, Tagg and NiKolas; two sisters, Maxine Pearce and Aline Anderson along with many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tim and Lockie (Harp) Neal; sisters, Jean McKinney and Christene Neal; and a brother, Wilburn (Buck) Neal. He established the 4B Ranch in 1966 and Neal Plating Co. in 1972. He enjoyed ranching and spending time with his family and friends until the Lord called him home. Funeral services were set for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Antioch Baptist Church in the Pink Hill Community. Burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery in Bells. Pallbearers were grandsons. Honorary pallbearers were deacons and trustees of Antioch Baptist Church.
