RAVENNA - Misty Lee Pena passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012 with her family and many friends by her side at Texoma Medical Center. Misty was born May 28, 1966 in Dallas to Larry and Nancy Allen Jackson. She was Larry and Nancy's only child. Misty was the granddaughter of Evelyn Durelle Bolin.

Misty was a Licensed Vocational Nurse with Angels of Care. She graduated from Savoy High School and Grayson County College Nursing School. Misty was a giving person, giving of her time and talents to help others in their time of need. She loved to help the less fortunate especially orphans during the Christmas season.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells/Savoy, Texas. Misty's family will give a tribute to her wonderful life followed by a memorial from her father, Mr. Larry Jackson. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Misty is survived by her parents, Larry and Nancy Jackson; husband, Juan "Chago" Pena; son, Daniel Lee Pena all of Ravenna; brother-in-law, Guadalupe Pena; sisters-in-law, Elia Pena and husband Benjamin Figueroa, Alejandra Pena, Tolla Pena, and Serofina Pena; and special cousins that she was raised with and went to school with Chelley Renee, Tonya, Shannon and Tina.

The family will receive friends from 6 -8 p.m., Monday at Mullican-Little Funeral Home.
