SHERMAN - Jeanette Magers Lowery, 81, of Sherman passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lowery were held 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 27 at West Sherman Baptist Church in Sherman, with Rev. Danny Wood and Rev. Lowell Howard officiating.  Burial services were held at the Rosehill Cemetery with The Order of the Eastern Star, Carpenters Chapter 183, under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.  Pallbearers were Leslie Shelby, Mike Hastings, Gene Word, Jerry Horn, Richard Reynolds, Rich Reynolds, Ron Carter.
Mrs. Lowery was born May 29, 1929 in Baldwin, Mississippi to Leonard Lexus and Carlene Allen Magers. She went to Clark Memorial College in Newton, Mississippi. She married Robert Lowery on April 30, 1949 in Pineville, Mississippi.
She was a homemaker and a member of the West Sherman Baptist Church. She was also a Marshall of the Order of the Eastern Star, Carpenters Chapter 183 in Sherman.
Preceded in death are her parents and her sister, Delores Davis.
She is survived by husband, Robert Lowery of Sherman; daughter, B.J. (Bobbie J) Carter and her husband, Thomas of Bells; nephews, Jimmy Rogers, Gary Baskin and Barry Davis; and her nieces that were in attendance prior to and after her passing away, Sue Tapp, Sheryl Broome and Marci Havard.
