Smith, 30-year-old Whitewright Negro indicted June 15 for assault to murder in connection with an axe attack on his father, Will Smith, was adjudged insane Saturday in Grayson County court and the charge in Fifteenth District Court was dismissed. Smith has been held in jail since the attack on March 31. He will be placed in a state hospital as soon as possible. Susan Hawkins
