Galveston, Texas Saturday, July 18, 1896 pg 5 SHERMAN NOTES Whit Moody suddenly lost his mind a few days since and it has been necessary since to restrain him at his home in West Sherman. A jury this morning adjudged him insane and he is now contained in the county jail. His ruling hallucination seems to be that he is being poisoned by parties who desire to kill him and at times he has displayed such combativeness that he was considered dangerous. It is believed that his misfortune is due to overheat. Susan Hawkins ©2025 If you find any of Grayson CountyTXGenWeb links inoperable, please send me a message. |
