jury, in the sum of $1000, for assault committed upon Ed Green, Dec. 24.

. . . The negro shoe-maker Dangerfield, who made a number of pistol plays in Denison last winter, plead guilty to assault in the district court at Sherman, Tuesday, and was sentenced to two years in the state prison.
