  Clifford C. Cross 3 March 1913 - 11 January 1985 Marea Brennan Cross 13 November 1906 - 15 September 1988 Denison - Funeral for Marea Brennan Cross, who died Thursday night in
a Denison hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Bratcher Funeral Chapel,
with the Revs. Thurman Levacy and Bob Robertson officiating. Burial
will be in Preston Bend Cemetery.
Mrs. Cross was born in Preston Bend, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.F. "Walter" Brennan. She was a member of a pioneer family that settled in Preston Bend in the 1860s. She married Clifford C. Cross May 10, 1968, and they retired to Preston Bend for the next 16 years. He died in 1985. She later moved to Denison. She was a member of Waples Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Jean Estelle Patterson of Dallas; sister, Mary Fuller of Highland Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Robert C. Patterson, Jr., Michael M. Patterson, Russell Fuller, John Hancock, C.W. Dodgen, Jr., and Kenneth Nicodemus. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Pottsboro Public Library.
