Friday, October 24, 1958 GEORGE JACKSON JR. Funeral services for George Jackson, Jr., 64, were held in Bratcher chapel Sunday, October 18. The Rev. A.P. Skaggs officiated and interment was in Preston Bend cemetery. Jackson died in Wilson N. Jones hospital in Sherman Friday, October 17 after a long illness. He had been in the hospital one week. He was born in Preston Bend July 24, 1894, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Jackson, Sr., and had lived in the vicinity all of his life. He was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors are two sons, Cecil Jackson, Denison and Seymore Jackson, California; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Terrell, Mrs. Florence Caddell, and Mrs. D.W. Blake, all of Denison.
