  Andrew H. Carender 25 March 1908 - 14 March 1976 Mary B. Carender 15 August 1912 - 20 April 2009  Sherman Democrat March 15, 1976 Services for Andrew H. Carender, 67, of 817 W. Center St., a retired farmer and carpenter, who died Sunday at a Denison hospital was held Tuesday afternoon at the Pentecostal Church of God coducted by Rev. A.H. Horn, pastor. Burial was in the Preston Bend Cemetery under the direstion of Horton-Barrett Funeral Home. Mr. Carender was born at Braggs, Oklahoma, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Carender and has lived most of his life in this area. He was married to Mary Nance on December 1, 1927 at Matador. Surviving are his wife; sons, A.H. Carender, Jr. of Pasadena; W.S. Carender of Grapevine and L.D. Carender of Corpus Christi; brothers, Vernon Carender of Rogers, Arkansas; and Hiram Carender of Wasco, California; sisters, Mrs. Edith Simms of Denison; Mrs. Elvie Johnson of Seagoville; Mrs. Jewel Higgins of Carlsbad, New Mexico; and Mrs. Mattie Noladn of Rogers, Arkansas; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were B.E. Perkins, Carlton McCray, Gerald Carender, Bryan Harrell, David Witt and Glenn Julius.
