  John K. Turney 28 June 1839 - 6 January 1919 The Denison Press Friday, March 20, 1953 pg. 6 Funeral services were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel Friday afternoon for Mrs. Tinnie Grace Mullenhour, 65, of 3410 W. Morton, who died at home Thursday after three months of illness. Rev. Bruce Hibbitt, pastor of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, officiated and interment was in Preston Bend Cemetery. Mrs. Mullenhour was born in Hill County, May 7, 1887, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Turney. She attended school in Preston Bend and was married there to C.H. Mullenhour in 1902. They resided in Preston Bend until nine years ago when they moved to Denison. She was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include four sons, Charlie Nobel and Clyde of Denison; R.E. of Lewisville; and Bud of Pottsboro; one daughter, Miss Liddie Mullenhour, Denison; one brother, J.W. Turney, Saugus, California; three sisters, Mrs. Junie Taylor, Oklahoma City, Mrs. Effie Sander, Bragg, Oklahoma; and Mrs. Lizzie Aynes, Denison; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
