DENISON - Graveside services for Nancy E. Taylor, 88-year-old retired seamstress of Shady Oaks Nursing Center, were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Preston Bend Cemetery. She died Monday in Sherman.  Rev. James Rogers officiated with arrangements by Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Comanche County, the daughter of Jackson Lafayette Proctor and Victoria Good Proctor. She married William Taylor November 13, 1954 in Santa Rosa, New Mexico.  She was a Baptist.
Surviving are her daughters, Bessie Dalton of Denison; and Jessie Monroe of Savoy; stepson, David Proctor of Waco; sisters, Irene Finney of Cumby; Virgie Maupin and Viola Taylor, both of Ranger; 20 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
