Funeral services were held Saturday at Van Alstyne for Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Vandagriff, 85, who died at her home, Van Alstyne route 1, Thursday.  She was the wife of the late J.A. Vandagriff.
Burial was in Pilot Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Vandagriff was born in Tennessee, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Crook.  She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Mary Barnes and Mrs. Mattie Miller, both of Van Alstyne; and Mrs. Nannie Ruth Johnson of McKinney; four sons, Bill Vandagriff and Erwin Vandagriff, both of Sherman; Dillard Vandagriff of Sterling, Colorado; and Harrison Vandagriff of Whitewright; one brother, Bob Crook, of Woodville, Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. Serena Farmers of California; Mrs. Telia Parker of Denison; and Mrs. Frances Bowman of Mansfield; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
