Neathery 28 April 1928 - 13 April 2010 US Air Force Korea  The Dallas Morning News April 2010 Maurice Roy Neathery passed away April 13, 2010 at his home in Duncanville, Texas, at age 81. Maurice was a kind, loving man and served as a minister for over 55 years. He served in churches in Texas, Florida, Alabama and Wisconsin. He was a hero to many for the examples he set in forgiveness and humility. Everyone who met him knows he was excited to share the good news of Christ. Maurice is survivied by his loving wife of 60 years, Lois; daughter, Becky Cotton and husband, Rick; son, Marc Neathery and wife, Lisa; and Bill Neathery and wife, Christi; daughter, Pam Pirozzo. He is also survived by grandchildren, Ryan and Terra Cotton; Randy and Jamie Cotton; Cody Neathery; Brad Neathery; and Heather and Hallie Priozzo; and 2 great-grandchildren: Gavin and Teyay Cotton. He is furthered survived by all 9 of his siblings: 7 sisters and 2 brothers; and many nieces and nephews. Maurice was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Ken Pirozzo. Funeral services were held Friday morning, April 16, 2010 at Duncanville Church of Christ with Mr. Ron Carlson and Mr. Frank Alexander officiating. Burial followed in the Pilot Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Christian Relief Fund, Amarillo, Texas. Jaynes Funeral Chapel in Duncanville was in charge of arrangements.
