Friday, July 2, 1920 pg. 1 Mrs. Eliza Tidwell, age 75, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ida Stallcup Wednesday morning at 2 o'clock. Mrs. Tidwell had been confined to her bed for the past four years with paralysis and was a patient sufferer. She came to this State with her husband Kesterson Tidwell, in 1897 from Georgia, and has lived in this section ever since. Her husband died about nine years ago. Mrs. Tidwell was converted and joined the Baptist church about sixty years ago. The funeral service was conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Pilot Grove cemetery by Rev. I E. Teague. Mrs. Tidwell is survived by the following children: Mrs. Ida Stallcup, Mrs. Rowell, Mrs. Ross and J.O. Tidwell.
