  Joe Gaime was born July 18, 1959 in Corpus Christi, Texas, son of Betty Pyle and Dan Gray. He departed this life on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Texoma Medical Center due to Covid complications. Joe graduated from San Angelo Central High School and continued his education at Southern Methodist University pursuing Business and Management programs in Dallas, Texas. Joe was married to his high school sweetheart, Julia Gaime, on July 23, 1977 in San Angelo, Texas at the First Baptist Church of San Angelo. Joe Gaime worked as a Telecommunications Engineer and Senior Program Manager for Ericsson (previously Nortel Networks) for 40+ years. Joe devoted much of his free time to his family, farming and serving within the community and church...AKA "Water Boy." He is survived by his parents, Dan and Claudia Gray; his wife, Julie Gaime; his son, Jeremy Gaime; his daughter, Jenny Allen; his son-in-law, D'Marques Allen; 5 grandchildren: Jeffrey and Jason Boyd; DJ and Diamond Allen; and Luca Dean Allen. Joe is survived by 8 sisters; one brother-in-law; aunts and uncles; numerous nephews and nieces, cousins and friends that we consider family; his extended church family. Services for Joe were held Saturday morning, March 13, 2021 at Bethel Baptist Church, Whitewright, Texas. Burial followed at the Pilot Grove Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Scoggins Funeral Home.
