The Whitewright Sun Thursday, November 25, 1971 pg.8 Mrs. W.T. McKinney, age 76, passed away Saturday at 6:35 p.m. in the Sherman Community Hospital. Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Earnheart. Services were conducted by Rev. Leroy Martin, Baptist minister of Gainesville and assisted by Rev. Richard Agan. Burial was in Pilot Grove cemetery. Mrs. McKinney was born June 23, 1895 in Bells, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Fleeman. She married W.T. McKinney July 25, 1915 in the Bethel Community. She was a member of the Pilot Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; one son, J.W. McKinney, Irving; one daughter, Mrs. Billy L. Stallings, Sherman; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Climer and Mrs. Tula H. Elliott, both of Whitewright; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
