  Ernest R. LaBonne 19 September 1933 - Elna Faye LaBonne 11 July 1935 - 4 November 2007 wed 13 March 1964  Van Alstyne, Texas - Louis Ernest LaBonne, 47, of Van Alstyne passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center, Sherman. He was born December 10, 1970 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, son of Ernest and Faye Liner LaBonne. Louis married Melissa Diane Fruen August 4, 1994. Louis worked as a truck driver and loved riding motorcycles but most of all he loved his family. Louis is survived by his wife; son, Shawn Don LaBonne of California; daughter, Kristina Marie Bowen of Whitewright; son, Ernest Rene LaBonne of Van Alstyne; 6 grandchildren; brother, Billy Joe LaBonne and wife, Joni, of Bellingham, Massachusetts; sister, Pat LeDuc and husband, David, of Harrisville, Rhode Island; numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Louis was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at the Van Alstyne Church of Christ. Burial followed in Pilot Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roy Fruen, David LeDuc, Butch Weatherford, Brad Montgomery, Roger Edwards, Ritchie Knight, Robert Wiggs, and Louis LaBonne.
