September 30, 1971 pg. 8 Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Brooks were held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Earnheart Chapel. Mrs. Brooks, 46, died Thursday night in a Dallas Hospital. Burial was in Pilot Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Brooks was born February 12, 1925 in Pilot Grove. She was a member of the Baptist Church and employed at the Baker Hotel in Dallas. She graduated from Whitewright High School. Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Charles Evans of Fort Worth.
