  Grover A. Vestal 8 September 1890 - 10 March 1966 Pearl L. Vestal 19 May 1892 - 3 January 1984 The Whitewright Sun Thursday, March 17, 1966 pg.1 Grover A. Vestal, 75, retired Whitewright farmer, died last Thursday in the Savoy nursing home after a long illness. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday in Earnheart funeral chapel, conducted by Rev. Dan Vestal of Fort Worth, Rev. Bob Cates of Bonham, and Rev. Dale Gore of Whitewright. Burial was in Pilot Grove Cemetery. Mr. Vestal was born September 8, 1890 near Whitewright, the son of Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Vestal. On January 15, 1915 he married Miss Pearl Smith. Surviving are his wife; four sons, G.V. and J. Lee Vestal of Dallas, Jones Ray Vestal of Richardson, and Johnnie Mac Vestal of Hobbs, New Mexico; two brothers, Rolla C. and Ronald Vestal of Whitewright, and several grandchildren.
