  
The Whitewright Sun Thursday, January 6, 1972 pg.2 Services for K.D. Neathery, 92, were held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Earnheart Funeral Chapel. He died Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in a local nursing home. Mr. Neathery was a retired farmer and a member of the Methodist Church. He was an ex-student of the Old Grayson College in Whitewright. Mr. Neathery was born August 6, 1879 in Aubrey, Kentucky, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Killis Neathery. He married Miss Mae Binion December 8, 1900 in Pilot Grove. Rev. William E. Grisham, Methodist minister of Whitewright, and Rev. Felix Keys, Presbyterian minister from Marlin, a nephew of Mr. Neathery, officiated, with burial in Pilot Grove Cemetery.
