  Jennie Jackson 1889 - 1974 Paul Jackson 1888 - 1961 wed 23 June 1907 The Whitewright Sun Thursday, October 5, 1961 pg.4 Funeral services for Sidney Paul Jackson, 73, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Pilot Grove Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Howard McSpedden of Denton and Rev. Jim Griffin, pastor. Burial will be in the Pilot Grove Cemetery, directed by the Earnheart Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jack Andrew, Bob Andrew, Clarence Murphy, Arlie St. John, Dolph Hopper and Clint Hopper. Mr. Jackson died yesterday in the Tom Bean Rest Home. His home was in the Pilot Grove Community. Born August 4, 1888 at Subligna, Georgia, he was the son of Late and Winnie Jackson. He married Miss Jennie Davis, June 23, 1907, at Gunter, Texas. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Pilot Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Roy and Carl of Gardina, California, Rev. Bill Jackson of Denison and Robert Jackson of Russell Springs, Kentucky; one daughter, Mrs. Wilma Faye Hicks of Chattanooga, Tennessee; five sisters, one brother, 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
