W.F.Weaver, 84, Denison's Oldest Ex-Mayor, Dies
W.F. "Billy" Weaver, 84, dean of Denison's former mayors and a retired plumbing firm owner, died Wednesday at his home, 220 East Morgan, after a long illness.
A native of Indiana, he had been a resident of Denison 78 years.  He retired from the plumbing business in 1952.  He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held at the Bratcher chapel Friday with Rev. Ray Flaherty, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, officiating.  Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
Surviving are his widow, whom he married here 63 years ago; a son, Johnny Weaver of Denison who now operates a tire vulcanizing shop at the former plumbing firm headquarters; a brother, B.F. Weaver, Scotia, New York; four sisters, Mrs. A.E. Little, Mrs. P.C. May and Mrs. Ida Slagle, all of Denison; and Mrs. J.A. Cram, Dallas; one grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Raymond Jackson, son of Mr. and Mrs. F.W. Weaver, aged 4 years and 9 months, died this morning at 8:15 at the family residence, No. 215 West Morgan street, after a few days' illness from congestion of the stomach.

Besides the bereaved parents, a brother of ten years is left to mourn the loss of this bright little boy.
Funeral arrangements will not be made till the arrival of Mrs. Weaver's mother,  Mrs. R.N. Grammer, from Colorado.
